A Grave Marker
There is a grave marker in St. Ann's cemetery in Sayville, New York. The inscription reads:

In Memory of
Robert Perkins Post
Correspondent New York Times
Born September 8, 1910
Killed in air attack over Wilhelmshaven
February 26 1943
Buried in U.S. Military Cemetery
Neuville-en-Condroz, Belgium

It was placed there in the Post family plot by Robert Post's father. Robert Post died on the only official mission of The Writing 69th. Below is the cross on Robert Post's grave in the military cemetery at Neuville-en-Condroz.
